The sun is the great star. Nobody is home, the apartment is empty. Days go by, nothing goes on. Somewhere, someone is singing a song. Slowly the sun changes the situation.

Through dreamy landscapes of visions and fantasies we are taken through a world of feelings. A bittersweet sadness describes the loss of someone or maybe a farewell. Gradually we become aware of being on a journey so universal that it becomes part of all of us.

UNTIL

In this atmospheric trip through the nights of New York and Paris all conversations take place over the phone. A man in a bath and a woman in a bar discuss life, dreams and loneliness. It is a portrait of two strangers, their desires and the mystery of their encounter. Petra Lindholm received the 3rd prize at the prestigious Carnegie Art Award for this film.

WEAR THE BAZOOKA

A telescopic sight roams the barren landscape. There seems to be a fight farther away. An explosion is anticipated, or maybe it has already happened. Right next to the ear a woman is singing about her fears. It's not always easy to tell news reporting from fiction.

NO END

New surroundings make for new thoughts in a nightly taxi ride on the way to Manhattan from Brooklyn. The music in this melancholic but hopeful road movie is written by Ola Salo and performed by Swedish band The Ark.

ALL IS ONE

In a dream world of mirror images, everything is possible and anything can happen. Birds have forgotten how to fly south for the winter, but a gold-shimmering craft helps them to an island where several dimensions exist simultaneously. The film can be seen as a spiritual journey but also as a cosmical music piece. The title refers to the unity between nature and man.

IRIS

This brand new collaboration with composer Lars Åkerlund is a beautiful flow of images and sound as well as an insistant narrative. It turns into a poetic science fiction about death and rebirth and how these extremes are inseparable.
